I’m 27 year old Sarah Riggott living in temporary exile in Guatemala. I’ve been there since September 2009 working for GVI, managing the English language programme in two schools.
I was recently asked to list five things that are important to me, so in no particular order: friends and family, volunteering, free education for all, equality and my job
An interesting fact about me is that I love writing lists. Here are some more facts about me:
a) I have lived in five different countries and love Guatemala the most
b) I ranĀ the ReadingĀ half marathon and trekked the Inca Trail last year for WRVS, the fantastic charity I used to work for as a direct marketing manager
c) I was once told I should be Prime Minister, but it hasn’t been suggested again
d) I speak French and Spanish although probably not as well as I should and was recently taught some Mandarin and Zulu
e) I would love to run my own project working with children although I probably need to give it some more thought.
I have photos on flickr and can be contacted by email: sarah.riggott@gmail.com.
